A 16-year-old has been detained in Sweden on suspicion of shooting and killing three people in the city of Uppsala. The shooting took place at a hair salon in central Uppsala, near Vaksala Square. Witnesses reported hearing up to five or six shots. The police have cordoned off the area, and forensic technicians have found empty bullet casings on a side street near the salon. The police are conducting an intensive investigation to determine the motive behind the shooting and whether it is gang-related. Train services were temporarily halted but have now resumed. Residents in the vicinity have been evacuated, and a helicopter is participating in the search for the perpetrators. The Ministry of Justice is closely monitoring the situation. This incident comes at a time when Uppsala is preparing for the Valborg celebration, a significant event for the city. The government has recently tightened laws and given more powers to the police due to the rise in gang-related violence in the country.
